The brushed stainless steel finish gives it a luxurious look, and its compact size makes it ideal for those who have little space for countertops or a small kitchen.
The Bambino Plus also includes all the equipment you require to get started brewing, such as an tamper made of metal measuring 54 millimeters and a dose trimmer tool. This is the only machine of its kind to do this. It demonstrates how Breville intends to ensure that their products are as secure and reliable as possible. It also has built-in reminders for descaling and cleaning to ensure that it is running efficiently.

2. De'Longhi Stilosa
The De'Longhi Stilosa manual espresso machine is an excellent, budget-friendly choice that's ideal for beginners and coffee enthusiasts. It's easy-to-use, looks good on the counter, and can make great espresso, cappuccinos and lattes. It does have some drawbacks, which should be taken into consideration.
In our brewing metrics we found that the Stilosa scored average to below-average for its quality of brewing and its control. This was due to the small filter baskets and the absence of a temperature control. Both of these issues make it difficult to customize extraction. We liked that this machine can be heated quickly and that the spout could be adjusted to a suitable height.
The unit also has a convenient water reservoir that can hold up to 34 ounces. It has a built in indicator for level that lets you know when it's time to refill. It's also movable, which is helpful when you need to clean the tank or in the event that you don't have a sink nearby. Another new feature on this model is a movable drip tray that allows you to put taller cups on the spout.
In our steaming metrics, the Stilosa also came up short. This was largely because of its lack of control over steam temperature as well as the absence of a pre-infusion feature, both of which are typical features on more expensive machines. Despite these shortcomings we did like the fact that it doesn't require regular maintenance and is backed by a one-year warranty. For its price and performance it's a great choice. This single boiler, pumps-driven machine is designed to make it easy for anyone to pull an espresso shot without sacrificing flavor or consistency in the brewing.
First of all, it takes the guesswork out of setting the grinder, tamper, and brew group settings with its simple-to-use controls. You can also select between double or single shots and select the temperature you prefer. A built-in thermocoil heating system ensures your espresso will be ready in less than 30 seconds which is much quicker than the half hour that the majority of traditional single boiler machines need to reach temperature.
The "impressive" dosing-and-tamping device, which works with the tamper, automatically dials in the right amount of ground coffee for each shot. The system utilizes sensors to determine the depth of the basket and alters how much ground coffee is dispensed. And if you're feeling a little less confident in the ability to control the size of the grind, water temperature, and dosing, the machine offers several presets that can help.
The Barista Express Impress also comes with the infamous single hole steam wand that can create impressive latte artwork. The same wand will find in Breville's more advanced, high-end Barista Express models, and it's a great tool.
I'm not a big advocate for coffee shortcuts, fully automatic machines or even pods, but the Impress does what it's designed to do without becoming intimidating or taking away the pleasure of making a good shot of espresso. I'm happy to give it a thumbs-up for this!
4. Diletta Mio
The Diletta Mio makes a great option for home baristas that are adamant about quality, design and user-friendliness. Its sleek aesthetic, professional-grade components, and consistent performance make it a conversation piece for your coffee area. It's also a great choice for those who are new to the coffee industry and want to learn the ins and outs of espresso and steaming without being overwhelmed by the complexity of programming and programming.
This machine's PID-controlled brew heater is one of its most striking features. It provides quick warm-up times and stable temperature water. This is especially important for espresso, as small fluctuations in water temperature can have a huge impact on the flavor and quality of your coffee.
